The Vision
Yatish imagined a set that feels like stepping into a postcard moment—warm light, gentle waves, and an endless horizon that invites ease.
Drawing it into Form
The design began with a simple transition—from deep ocean blue to shoreline white. Once the gradient settled, the artisans placed two leaning palms on the shirt: one tall and rooted, one young and rising beside it. Their posture suggests companionship, movement, and stillness all at once. The shorts were kept clean and neutral to balance the artwork, making the entire set feel harmonious and light.
Artisans Begin Crafting
As the shirt took shape, the gradient was carefully blended to mimic a fading horizon. The hand-embroidery artists then brought the palms to life, stitching the leaves in layered greens to mimic sunlight passing through them. Subtle textures were added to the trunks to give them depth and warmth. The shorts were crafted in matching banana cotton, stitched carefully for comfort and fluidity.
