The Vision
Ben envisioned a coordinated set that would feel like a grounding ritual—something he could wear as he steps into a new phase of his life, held by craft, symbolism, and comfort. The dreamcatcher became his chosen emblem: a guide, a protector, and a reminder to filter out noise and hold onto what truly matters. He wanted this piece to mirror his inner landscape—steady, earthy, and soulfully detailed.
Drawing it into Form
The artisans begin by mapping the proportions of the shirt and trouser set, ensuring the dreamcatcher sits in perfect harmony on the back panel. The cuffs and waistband are planned in a rich contrasting brown, grounding the ensemble visually. The motifs at the hem of the pants echo the primary dreamcatcher, tying the entire set into one flowing narrative.
Artisans Begin Crafting
Kala cotton is cut with care to respect its natural weave. The embroidery frame is set, and the dreamcatcher begins to emerge slowly—first its circular boundary, then the geometric center, then the lively feathers that sway with layered stitches.
Machine embroidery brings structure; handwork brings soul.
Finally the shirt and trousers are stitched together, reinforced, pressed, and finished with a balance of precision and warmth.
