CO-CREATION JOURNEY
Nick’s rising phoenix set, A rebirth in expression.
The Vision
Nick came to the co-creation with a clear symbol in mind — the Phoenix. Not just a bird of fire, but a metaphor for personal evolution. A cycle of burning down and building back, of dissolving old skins and stepping into new ones.
Drawing it into Form
From the first sketches, the Phoenix rose in flowing lines and fiery edges, built on a cotton twill base for strength, indigo hand-block lining for depth, blanket stitch edging like raw flames, and a reversible vest with tailored trousers to hold the duality of past and future.
Artisans Begin Crafting
The set took form through hand-cut twill, block-printed linings dyed in deep indigo, and hours of blanket stitching around the edges. Each stitch pulled the fire motif into being — imperfect, alive, hand-wrought.
The Final Piece
The final co-creation stands tall: a reversible vest and trouser set, stitched with fire, lined with shadow, and built to carry the wearer forward. It is both armour and offering — the body dressed in rebirth.
