Marina envisioned a set that feels deeply grounded yet full of character—something that carries the warmth of tradition with a touch of whimsy. The Mala set grew from her love of nature, symbolism, and the charm of handcrafted details.
Drawing it into Form
The artisans shaped a layered silhouette: a collared shirt, a story-rich vest, and wide-leg pants embroidered with motion. Each element was placed to create harmony while allowing each piece to shine on its own.
Artisans Begin Crafting
They cut the Kala cotton with care, stitched the vest into form, and embroidered the motifs by hand. Every stitch—on the whimsical vest patches and the hummingbirds—was placed with intention and quiet devotion.
