CO-CREATION JOURNEY

A Kimono That Holds the Grounding of Roots and the Radiance of Flowers

The Vision

Hardik envisioned a kimono that embodied both grounding and growth—roots stretching deep into the earth, and blossoms reaching toward the light. The garment becomes a living metaphor: to stand strong, one must be rooted; to flourish, one must open to beauty.

Drawing it into Form

Artisans began with the anchor-thread blossoms, stitching each petal with care to capture both softness and structure. The zari and resham threads were then woven in for roots and borders, their shine catching light as though the garment itself was alive. Every detail was guided by hand, patience, and a respect for natural forms.

Artisans Begin Crafting

The finished kimono is a portrait of rooted beauty. It brings together the firmness of the earth and the delicacy of flowers, merging strength with gentleness. For Hardik, it becomes not just clothing, but a symbolic garment—one that honors both where he stands and how he blooms.

The Final Piece

The robe became a moving canvas of succulents and sea, the pants a versatile echo of the same imagery. Together, they hold Malibu’s essence close—both a ritual garment and a living memory, wearable wellness made art.
